Chicks Dig Jerks are an ever changing and evolving collective of music lovers from Birmingham headed up by founder member Mazzy. Since late 2002 Mazzy has been travelling the UK and Europe with her merry band of lunatics, throwing parties and playing their favourite records from 1950s to present day.
Some of the acts that have played the infamously crazy Chicks Dig Jerks parties are Professor Green, Gossip, Metronomy, Brodinski, Klaxons, Chromeo, DJ Medhi, The Mae Shi, Liars, Q+NOTU and all have agreed that there really aint no party like a Chicks Dig Jerks party!
Residencies held have included The Lock Tavern in Camden, The Queen Of Hoxton in Shoreditch, The Sunflower Lounge and Rainbow in Birmingham to name a few.
Dummy Magazine hit the nail on the head when they interviewed CDJ in their first ever issue and described them as “Self-deprecating talent-spotting party-loving lunatics”
