A childhood of spending your lunch money on Jungle records, reading your older brother’s Eternity magazine and amassing rave-tapes does a lot to a person. Underground music culture becomes a part of their DNA and no matter how hard the ‘real world’ tells you to do something sensible, it just doesn’t resonate. This is the story of Hauswerks. Whilst his preferred tempos may have slowed down over the years, his obsession with grooves is more prominent than ever. Having made the decision to work in music whilst still putting on his school uniform in the mornings, Hauswerks has notched-up well over a decade of studio experience already engineering for globally recognised names such as Steve Lawler, Doorly, Mark Knight, Filthy Rich, Anthony Pappa and lots more!
Now Hauswerks is turning his attention to his own productions and has joined forces with Moda Black to unveil a volley of original EPs, remixes and collaborations over the course of 2013. This has been to great success with Pete Tong featuring all of his Moda Black EPs on his infamous Radio 1 show in the UK as well as big club support from the likes of Stacey Pullen, Steve Lawler, M.A.N.D.Y, Disclosure, Huxley, Edu Imbernon, Lee Curtiss, Richy Ahmed, Hot since 82, Jozif, and many other artists across the board. Make no mistake, Hauswerks’ music hits you right below the waist. Unforeseen fills, off-kilter samples and warping vocals effortlessly flow from his insanely infectious grooves – creating throbbing terrace bombs that speak a language of their own.
2013 has seen Hauswerks debut at major festivals including the UK’s Lovebox and Global Gathering as well as holding down DJ residencies and shows all over ibiza. Things are hotting up for this super talented DJ/Producer and 2014 is already shaping up to be a great year for Hauswerks… We for one firmly believe its time for the man behind so many artists’ music to step forward and into the limelight himself!
