Ninjury came to life in the autumn breezes of 2012, a new journey for established double act Mike McGuinness and Claire Savage began. Both international DJs and producers in their own right, Mike and Claire bonded over a mutual admiration for electronic music in all its forms.
Their love affair with EDM began as the sunset on a view many have adored, on the shores of Ibiza and with their combined eclectic love for a vast array of other genres including Hip Hop and Garage, this pairing was never going to be conventional.
The most recent chapter in their story comes with the conception of NINJURY. A guise to showcase their indomitable sound of bass infused Tech House and with Hip Hop flavours that are invading dance floors and airwaves across the globe.
Having been signed to Manchester Heavyweights, Applique Music, the Ninjury production channel has been officially opened and will no doubt deliver a punch to the gullet of today’s charts. Their remixes have caused stirs among the blogs and adulation from the masses; their tracks have been reviewed on sites and included on radio stations.
Hosts of their own radio show on Digitally Imported Radio, home to world-renowned artists and DJs, Ninjury hit the airwaves at 7pm GMT every fourth Tuesday of the month. Also, let us not forget the fact they’ve been joining forces with the likes of MC Flipside, Artful, Will Clark and Munnibrotherz with many more in the pipelines. There’s no ignoring Ninjury, they’ve begun to land their blows.
They’ve already played enviable gigs at the world renowned Warehouse Project supporting Skrillex and Sven Vath in Manchester as well as Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Sankeys and many more to boot, it’s time to sit up and notice!
